From the past few days there was a news spreading around about RR and DC. Rajasthan Royals were willing to trade Sanju Samson for Tristan Stubbs and Sameer Rizvi , however the deal was rejected by Delhi Capitals due to disagreement.
After that , RR management approaches to Chennai Super Kings management for a trade , this time RR was asking Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja and Mathisha Pathirana for Sanju Samson. The CSK management found this deal unfair and called off. Later CSK proposed an offer for trade Sam Curran and Ravindra Jadeja for Sanju Samson , even though RR management rejected the offer earlier , this time the deal is locked .
Sanju Samson is going to join the Yellow jersey ahead of IPL 2026, and Ravindra Jadeja gets back to his former team , where he started his IPL career from RR in 2008. The process has started , it will take some days for the official comfirmation.

Acquiring both Jadeja and Curran would significantly strengthen their all-round and bowling departments.
Ravindra Jadeja started his IPL career with RR in 2008. His return would add immense experience, leadership, and a world-class spin option.
Sam Curran brings a quality left-arm seam all-rounder option, giving them more flexibility in team selection.
