Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by 36 runs to clinch their first win in IPL 2025. Put into bat, GT managed a total of 196/8 in 20 overs, led by B Sai Sudharsan’s half-century and good contributions by captain Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler. MI’s run chase fell apart right from the first over, when Mohammed Siraj dismissed Rohit Sharma. Suryakumar Yadav top-scored with 48, but Prasidh Krishna bowled a superb spell to pull MI back. MI captain Hardik Pandya performed well with the ball on his return from suspension, but flopped with the bat. 

Things does not went as planned for MUMBAI INDIANS , opening pair is looking clueless so far , middle order is also seems to be out of form till now.

 Mumbai Indians remained winless in IPL 2025, crumbling to a heavy 36-run defeat against Gujarat Titans in their second fixture of the ongoing season, in Ahmedabad on Saturday. Prasidh Sharma and Mohammed Siraj were in sensational form and took two-wicket hauls for GT. Siraj accounted for the dismissals of opener Rohit Sharma (8) in the first over and Ryan Rickelton (6) in the fifth over. Meanwhile, Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav tried to stage a comeback, but failed to get to their respective half-centuries. Tilak lost his wicket to Prasidh for 39 runs off 36 balls. Meanwhile, Suryakumar was also dismissed by Prasidh for 48 off 28 balls. Also, Kagiso Rabada dealt the final blow to MI, removing skipper Hardik Pandya for 11 runs off 17 balls, in the 17th over.
